Creating compels me to see beauty everywhere, even as it forces me to confront my own limitations. Yet those limits never restrain me; they challenge me to dissolve the boundary between hand and mind. Art teaches me to tell a story regardless of how it ends; to release the need for approval and trust the quiet truth of self-expression.

Life is not only lived in its bold chapters, but in its footnotes.. in subtle highs and quiet lows. There is meaning in both. My style and subjects are in constant flux. I can be moved by countless emotions in a single day, and often they all find their way onto one canvas. I work with pencil, charcoal, ink, coffee, wine, watercolour, oils, industrial paint, and the forgotten materials of everyday life — whatever is near, whatever carries history.

STRUCTURE & DISSOLUTION

Part of my practice explores the space between structure and dissolution - where forms emerge, fragment, and attempt to hold.

Working primarily with layered paint, line, and reclaimed materials, I construct compositions that behave less like images and more like systems. Lines act as signals or pathways, while blocks of color and texture suggest partial structures, bodies, architectures, or moments of containment that never fully resolve.

I am interested in the instability of communication: what is felt but not expressed, what is said but not received. Many works exist as suspended conversations - interrupted, misaligned, or incomplete. This tension between connection and disconnection runs throughout the work.

The body appears not as a fixed figure, but as a shifting field. Something sensed rather than depicted. Through layering, erasure, and gesture, I allow forms to surface and recede, balancing control with accident, intention with disruption.

Each piece is a negotiation: between clarity and ambiguity, weight and air, presence and absence. What remains is a trace of something trying to take shape - held, briefly, before it changes again.

Born in Italy and shaped by travels across Europe. the Americas and Asia, I am a self-taught artist whose practice is rooted in movement, memory and instinctive self-expression. My works incorporate materials gathered along the way, from rice paper sourced in China’s Yunnan region to handmade inks combining oils with natural elements. These materials carry traces of place, becoming part of an evolving visual language shaped by experience and intuition.

Painting began privately, as an escape rather than a profession. After a decade in the luxury industry, consumed by the mechanics of performance and materialism, I began to feel more like an algorithm than a person. I had to be born again.

Without formal training, I improvise and experiment freely, mixing scrap cardboard, wood, plastic, old wallpaper, traditional sketching and digital tools. This freedom allows curiosity and instinct to guide my practice, making art a way of returning to myself.

To be alive is to witness the constant evolution and revolution of our cells: our bodies forming, changing, ageing and becoming. To inhabit this transformation while remaining awake to it, to be truly living, is perhaps our greatest challenge and our greatest privilege. ''
